# Track TON wallets in Telegram groups and Topics

TON Tracker Group Mode sends wallet activity to a Telegram group so a team can discuss transactions together. Telegram Topics separate different research tasks. Group Mode is in Beta and includes up to 5 group wallets for free.

## Add the bot to your group

Use the add-to-group button on the TON Tracker page and choose a Telegram chat. Start with a group where you can manage bots and member permissions.

Group Mode has its own wallets and settings. Your personal watchlist and alert rules do not replace the group configuration. After adding the bot, check its help and the commands available in that chat.

## Organize research with Telegram Topics

If the group uses Topics, organize addresses by research task: large wallets, newly funded exchange recipients or a specific token. Topics keep the relevant alerts and discussion together.

Import wallet lists directly into a topic. Confirm the destination and start with a small set of addresses. Give wallets recognizable labels so members do not have to compare full addresses for every notification.

## Choose who can manage the watchlist

Selected-member permissions control who can manage group wallets. Give editing access to the people responsible for research so accidental changes do not disrupt monitoring.

Agree on which addresses belong in the group: chat members can see its alerts. Avoid presenting personal labels as verified wallet ownership unless you have evidence for that association.

## Set independent group filters

Group settings are independent of personal settings. Choose event types and amount thresholds for the shared task. Buys and sells are useful for trading research; transfers help monitor wallet funding.

Check the first matching event for its topic, wallet label, message contents and transaction link. If no alerts arrive, verify that a supported operation occurred and review filters before changing the watchlist.

## Should you use Tracker or BuyBot?

TON Tracker follows a list of wallets and reports actions by those addresses. TON BuyBot serves a token community and publishes purchases of a connected token by different buyers.

Choose Tracker for shared wallet monitoring, or open TON BuyBot for a token purchase feed. Check the bot for current group plan options when you need to expand beyond the free group allowance.
